I’m not a happy bunny

Tried to get the free bus to Tesco today – well it’s something to do, and we need milk and eggs. So the bamphires and I stood in the perpetual drizzle we have at the moment, from 10.20 to 10.50 (bus due at 10.35, but the woman in Tesco said if no-one’s waiting, it [...]

Found a new game…

here.
The highest position I’ve managed so far is 535 (score of 2,606,069), but then I never was very good at this sort of thing. My hint is to keep clicking on the bonuses.

For Sale sign has just gone up

It’s all a bit scary and grown-up.

Arguing is bad for your sanity.

Me: Turn the telly off and come and have breakfast
R: No
Me: Yes, come on now.
R: No
after a couple of minutes of this
Me: Yes,
R: No
Me: Who do you think is going to win this one?
R: Me?
And yesterday we had….
Me: Please don’t play on the stairs with your brother, it’s not safe
R: Yes it is!
Me: No it [...]

Didn’t you know it all along?

I never thought I’d find proof those [...]

R is fine now

You’re probably right Sarah, due to the rich food the previous day, and no sandwiches to mop it all up with. Anyway, she is bouncing with energy today, so whatever it was has gone.
After much umm-ing and aah-ing, we are going away for the weekend. Hooray! Grandma and Grandad here we come! [...]

What have I been doing?

Well, let’s see. Husband has had 2 job-type interviews, been ill and is now gadding off up and down the country doing his normal job, but is finally getting some feedback on his thesis.
R has had a day-trip to the beach with the school (and me, D stayed with Lemly), a party there, but [...]

Deddy, Daddy, Go!

Or so D has been saying since we got back from watching Sport’s Day!
It was great – all the children seemed to really enjoy themselves. There were no winners – only 4 races, and only 4 children could race at any one time, but it was fun to watch and D joined in well [...]

In less than 2 hours

Someone is coming to value the house, yet here I am sitting at the computer rather than doing last-minute tidying-type-things. Oh well. House is looking good by the way. Hasn’t been this tidy since the day before we moved in!
R’s Sports Day this afternoon, so we are hoping the rain holds off [...]

Do I have anything to write about

while on the computer?
No, not really.
